This is what you’ll learn in this course
With hand building, you only need clay, some basic tools and your own hands. With the techniques we’ll teach you, you can build any functional or decoration piece. No previous experience needed!
this is what you’ll learn in this course:
If you are a beginner, we’ll guide you step by step through the most used manual techniques for the construction of ceramic pieces, such as pinching, slabs, coiling and hollowing. With these techniques you can build any functional ware (bowls, cups, salad bowls, teapots …) and decoration pieces (candle holders, boxes, ikebana vases, etc).
We’ll also go into details in various decoration techniques: carving, glazing, decoration with slips, wax reserves, textures, etc.
If you are advanced, then we’ll show you our best kept tricks…
And assist you in every step of the process!
The minimum enrollment is 3 months – to give us time to advance in the program and for you to finish your pieces.

Inscription fee and first monthly fee are charged by credit card, Following monthly fees are charged by direct billing.
THIS COURSE INCLUDES:
- Stoneware (high temperature clay), tools, firings, glazes and colored slips
- your finished pieces go home with you.
- New students are welcome at each beginning of the month (submitted to the availability of spots). Enrollment open throughout the year
For better personal tutoring we admit max. 6 students per class. The courses will take place with a minimum of 4 students. For groups of 6 students we can arrange special dates/schedules and programs.
