This is what you’ll learn in this course
This 3 days workshop is aimed to jewelers, ceramicists or whoever loves a beautiful accessory. No previous experience needed. Just be interested to discover new materials and techniques in order to experiment new possibilities to work with porcelain for jewelry.
This workshop is held by the ceramicist and jeweler artist Luca Tripaldi, born in Turin and based in Florence Italy.
Having an extended career in Jewelry making, Luca conducts workshops throughout Europe and United States,
as well as in his own studio in Florence. We’re delighted to have Luca again in Eltorn.
Program:
You’ll learn how to design and produce elements to later assemble them into unique necklaces. Rings couldn’t be left apart, giving us the opportunity to work with multidimensional shapes and different textures.
Besides working with porcelain, you’ll also learn how to make simple findings to finish your necklace.
This course will be divided into 3 stages.
Friday:
1- Demonstration and experimentation of different techniques to work with flat elements and textures. We’ll use white porcelain and black stained porcelain.
