This is what you’ll learn in this course
Course designed for beginners – you’ll have a complete hands-on introduction to the basic techniques of throwing and trimming.
- Kneading, centering and throwing simple shapes (bowls and cylinders).
- Trimming, to give a texture, burnishing and to put handles.
A selection of your best pieces (chosen by you) will be fired to be subsequently glazed. Once having learnt how to throw, you can sign up for a glazing class to learn how to glaze your pieces. You’ll find the date of the glazing class when you choose “yes” in the registration section.
Otherwise, don’t worry – our team will glaze them (with love) and in a period of 1 month after the course you can pick them up.
No previous experience needed!
You just need to bring old clothes and shoes to change – all the rest is up to us.

THIS COURSE INCLUDES:
- Stoneware clay, tools, firings and glazes.
- your pieces can be picked up one month after the course. When abroad, shipping can be arranged (shipping costs apply; paid upfront by PayPal).
For better personal tutoring we admit max. 7 students per class. The courses will take place with a minimum of 4 students. For groups of 4 or more students we can arrange special dates/schedules and programs.
