Workshop: wheel throwing for teachers

This is what you’ll learn in this course

Dear wheel teacher,

we’ve prepared a program for you, that’ll cover the points you deal with daily in your wheel throwing training routine with your students.

Raúl Mouro, ceramic artist with extensive experience (@raulmouro), ceramic artist with extensive experience on the wheel (his family has a tradition of working on the wheel since the 17th century!!) will share with you his savoir faire as a ceramist and teacher.

Program

• how to manage different levels in the same class
• technical aspects: postures and wheel throwing technique
• motivational aspects: define the student’s objective, manage frustration, detachment from the end result – focus on learning
• the importance of the student’s interaction with the workshop environment (with the space, with other students)
• ceramics not only as a means of producing pieces, but also a space for connection with oneself
• forum: exchange of experiences and ideas

Date: Sunday 16th February, 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (we will take a short break at noon).

Price: €145

For better attention and quality of classes, we work with groups of a maximum of 10 students. Courses are confirmed from 5 registered students. In the case of cancellation of the course, 100% of the value paid for the course will be refunded.
